This will be a two-day event. On Friday, June 16 will consist of: Libation, Honoring local Elders and Ancestors, Lecture by Anthony Cohen entitled
Unshackling History and a tour of photo exhibit-
Through Darkness to Light: Seeking Freedom on the Underground Railroad. 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday,June 17 the celebration will continue with a party on the lawn that encourages community participation from all sectors. Local African American youth will perform music from cultural genres- Rap,Jazz, Soul. Other youth will share their personal poetry and interpret dance and learn Line Dances.
6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
