Originally from Houston, TX., Mr. Guyton now resides and works in Las Vegas, NV., for Victorious Living Centers,
a local nonprofit housing counseling organization that has adopted the National Industry Standards for Homeownership
Education and Counseling of Neighbor Works. F.D. is a minister, wellness practitioner, musician, and also Co-founder
and Asst. Project Manager of Liberty Housing Development Corp. www.lhdcorp.com and Hurricane Housing Relief.

(Las Vegas, NV) - Las Vegas has seen the highest foreclosure rate among large U.S. cities.

According to Realty Trac, many of these homes are from decent homeowners that simply cannot pay their mortgage due to predatory lending practices and adjustable rates that got out of hand. FORECLOSURE IS NOT AN OPTION! Don't Just Walk Away, keep your keys.

There may be an affordable solution to families facing foreclosure nationwide. If you have tried everything else and your lender is still scheduled to foreclose, we may be able to remove the uncertainties, help retain ownership and temporarily delay the foreclosure process the right way until a permanent solution is implemented.

Foreclosures continue to destabilize our neighborhoods. Neighborhoods with foreclosed homes and empty streets cause blight and are a magnet for crime with subsequent decrease in property values.

The National Juneteenth Housing Commission is committed to helping individuals and families access the information they need to learn about responsibly achieving and maintaining homeownership. The goal of our Home Ownership Made Easy program is to help you understand the home buying process and how to manage through each phase of becoming a responsible homeowner from start to finish. The workshop will cover all aspects of the home-buying process. It will be fun and informal, while providing important information to help homebuyers make housing decisions that are best for them.
